Arnold Askew, GCFP has 30 years in bodywork and movement education.  He was on staff at the Doleys Pain and Rehab clinic in Birmingham, AL for seventeen years teaching movement classes and seeing patients individually.  He has extensive training in both manual and movement therapies and is Guild Certified in the Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education.  Arnold is also Nationally Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, AL Lic. #8 with special training in Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial release, Clinical Sports Therapy and more.  Before moving to Tuscaloosa in 2010 Arnold was co-founder and senior instructor at Red Mountain Institute for the Healing Arts where he taught Neuromuscular Therapy for 15 years.  He is a past member of the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy and a founding member of the Federation of State Massage Boards. 
Currently, Arnold has a private practice in the Tuscaloosa area where he works with a variety of clients  helping them find their maximum level of function, flexibility and comfort.  Arnold also has particular interest and expertise in working with geriatric issues.

Certified Posture Exercise Professional (CPEP®) – (Pursuing) posture specialist training through the intensive CPEP® program, led by BodyZone.com founder Dr. Steven Weiniger, renowned posture expert, delegate to the White House Conference on Aging, and author of Stand Taller Live Longer.  The CPEP program has set the international standard in postural assessment and strengthening posture through focused motion exercise to improve patient/client outcome by improving balance, alignment, functional motion and performance.
